YFF Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Policy
Welcome to the Young Founders Forum (YFF). As a member of our global entrepreneurial community, you are part of a trusted circle where business ideas, personal challenges, and growth strategies are freely discussed.
To ensure the safety and integrity of our community, all Members and Guests agree to the following confidentiality and non-disclosure standards.
1. Purpose
YFF exists to enable deep, trust-based collaboration between ambitious young founders. To facilitate this, we require all Members and Guests to uphold a strict confidentiality policy. This ensures that anything shared—whether a business idea, investor contact, or personal insight—remains within our trusted network.
2. What is Considered Confidential
"Confidential Information" includes, but is not limited to:
- Business strategies, financials, trade secrets
- Product roadmaps, client or investor lists
- Personal challenges, mental health discussions
- Anything marked or understood to be private
- YFF's internal operations, branding, and member data
3. Core Principles
By participating in YFF (online or in person), you agree to:
- Never disclose another Member's or Guest's Confidential Information outside the community without their written consent.
- Only use shared information to support the other Member—not to compete, exploit, or replicate.
- Protect community trust by acting in good faith and never misusing access to members or YFF's internal structure.
4. Community Ethics & Harm Prevention
Members and Guests must not:
- Intentionally cause harm—emotional, financial, or otherwise—to others
- Exploit the community for self-gain
- Misuse private information, ideas, or relationships formed through YFF
If issues arise between Members or Guests, YFF offers mediation support. However, YFF is not liable for any consequences resulting from interactions, agreements, or shared secrets between Members.
5. Digital Platform & Data Security
YFF takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the security of its website, communication channels, and member data.
However:
- We cannot guarantee absolute security.
- By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept that no system is immune to potential leaks, hacks, or breaches.
- YFF is not liable for any damages or losses caused by unintended access to or disclosure of information due to technical failure, hacking, or third-party vulnerabilities.
6. Post-Membership Responsibilities
Even after leaving YFF, you remain bound to this policy:
- Do not disclose any confidential info gained during your time in YFF.
- For 5 years after leaving, you may not create or support a competing forum (targeting young entrepreneurs for networking, learning, and/or teaching).
- You may not use Member contacts or confidential info to solicit, poach, or replicate YFF's model.
7. Legal Standing
- This policy is governed under the laws of Switzerland.
- In the event of a legal dispute involving YFF, it will be settled via arbitration under the Swiss Chambers' Arbitration Institution (SCAI) or the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
- All Members agree to this policy upon joining the platform. This agreement is binding even after Membership ends.
8. Final Notes
- This policy may be updated periodically. The most recent version always applies.
- Acceptance of this policy is automatic and irrevocable upon joining YFF.
